Matt O’Sullivan, CEO

Matt O’Sullivan brings extensive marine industry experience to his role as CEO of ErectorCraft. As an engineering officer onboard ships, ABS class surveyor, technical representative for USCG and USN vessels, and maritime executive, Matt has spent his career ensuring high standards in marine operations, fabrication, and engineering. His understanding of shipbuilding, vessel classification, marine engineering, small craft hulls, and innovative advancements in materials positions him uniquely to lead ErectorCraft in its mission to transform the marine industry through large scale additive manufacturing technology. Under his leadership, Erector Craft is pioneering the integration of advanced 3D printing solutions to deliver stronger and more efficient production of marine hulls and components, floating 3DCP platforms, high tech acoustic sensing shapes, artificial reefs, and overall by creating a network, decentralizing large scale 3d printing platforms, and bridging tech into the global marine industry.

 

James Gibbons, COO

James Gibbons serves as Chief Operating Officer at ErectorCraft, where he spearheads the integration of Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) technologies into the marine industry. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in marine operations, project management, and business leadership, James has successfully overseen complex logistics and large-scale project execution across various sectors of the marine world.

A graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in International Maritime Business and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, he has held pivotal roles that honed his operational expertise—from overseeing marine terminal operations to leading offshore wind projects and major international marine oil and gas initiatives. His extensive industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and commitment to sustainability enable him to drive operational excellence at ErectorCraft, helping to redefine the future of innovation in the marine industry.
